What is MyChart®?

MyChart® is a service offered as a convenience to MVHS patients. MyChart® provides you with online access to portions of your medical record. You are solely responsible for any sharing of its content that you may intentionally or unintentionally communicate to others.

Does my MVHS medical record appear on MyChart® account?

The record must accurately and completely document all orders, test results, evaluations, care plans, treatments, interventions, and care or treatment received and responses to those treatments, interventions, and care. Please note that not all of your MVHS medical record will appear on your MyChart® account.

What does MVHS stand for?

MVHS patients will now have the ability to access their bills online or via the MyChart mobile app. You can sign up by visiting mychart.mvhealthsystem.org and using the activation code from your “After Visit Summary”. After signing up, you can also choose to receive paperless e-state­ments rather than hard copy statements.

How long does it take to get medical records from MVHS?

Upon one week of discharge, inpatients of MVHS will be given access their medical records via MyChart.

At this time, MVHS anticipates that MyChart® will provide the following services to Users: Manage appointments, request refills or renewals of current medications, review of portions of User’s electronic medical record, request release of selected test results, ask non-urgent questions, request referrals, and pay bills online.
