Is MyChart required to receive health care from Lexington Medical Center?
The use of MyChart is completely voluntary and is not required to receive health care from Lexington Medical Center. I. Eligibility Individuals must be age 16 or older to request a personal MyChart Account.
What is MyChart and how can it help me?
MyChart gives you online access to your medical record. Whether you’re at work, on the road, or at home, you can view lab results, messages from your provider, and key medical information. How will Lexington Medical Center respond to my message?
Lexington Medical Center will respond to your message in as timely a manner as is reasonably possible. It is your sole responsibility to monitor your account for messages and other information and to respond and /or act (or not) upon them in a timely and appropriate manner. IV. Is MyChart my complete medical record?
MyChart is not your complete medical record. MyChart provides you with access to some (but not all) of the information contained in your electronic medical record. As a result, you should not rely on information accessed via MyChart as complete.
Can you exchange doctor notes?
You can exchange messages with your providers and read doctor’s notes from recent visits. Keep messages short and to the point. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can you ask for a refill on a prescription?
Out of refills? You can ask for a renewal on currently prescribed medication.
How does MyChart protect medical information?
As a MyChart user, your role in maintaining the security of your medical information is: 1) Changing your password on a regular basis, and 2) Keeping your login ID and password confidential.
How long does a proxy account last in LMC?
For access to the LMC MyChart Account of an adult patient or a minor patient ages 16-17, the patient and the proposed proxy complete the “Proxy for Adult Application.” Proxy access to an adult patient’s MyChart Account will automatically terminate three years after establishing proxy access.
How old do you have to be to get a MyChart account?
Individuals must be age 16 or older to request a personal MyChart Account. Parents or guardians of minor patients, patient representatives, or other individuals may request access to a patient’s MyChart Account by following the terms outlined in the “Proxy Access” section of this Terms and Conditions statement.
