What is MyChart and how does it work?
MyChart allows patients to see details about their medical history and current health status, communicate with their health care providers regarding non-urgent issues and to perform other health-related tasks, such as scheduling appointments, paying bills, and viewing select portions of their AHN medical record.
Can Ahn make changes to MyChart?
AHN reserves the right to make changes, updates, and/or improvements to MyChart, as well as to any programs, products, and/or services provided through MyChart, at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
Do I need to enroll in MyChart?
Enrolling in MyChart is optional and is not required in order to receive treatment; however, certain care-related services/programs may be exclusively offered through MyChart like Virtual Care (described more fully below).
Can I get emergency care through MyChart?
EMERGENCY CARE IS NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH MYCHART. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR SERIOUS CONDITION, CALL YOUR DOCTOR’S OFFICE, VISIT THE NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OR URGENT CARE CENTER, OR DIAL 911 IMMEDIATELY. C. What to do if you don’t receive activation code?
You can still sign up: Go to MyChart. Fill out the information on the screen, including your name, address, last four digits of your Social Security number, and birth date. From there, you’ll be asked to create your own username and password.
What is the 21st century cures act?
The 21st Century Cures Act gives you more access to your digital medical records. That means if you already have a MyChart account, you’ll be able to view test results and clinical notes as soon as they become available.
How to request a prescription refill?
Request prescription refills. Send a medication request to your doctor. When it’s approved, we’ll send it on to your pharmacy for a refill.
What is a unique username and password?
A. Unique username and password. Your username and password control access to your MyChart account and your health information within the account. DO NOT share your username or password with anyone. Sharing your username or password could compromise the confidentiality and security of your information in MyChart, and may result in AHN suspending or terminating your access privileges.
