How do I get a children’s health MyChart account?

To get a Children’s Health MyChart account, ask for an activation code at your next appointment. If you or your child have already been seen by a Children’s Health provider, you can click the button to request an account. Who is MyChart for? MyChart is for Children’s Health patients and their caregivers.

What is a MyChart account?

With a MyChart account, you can easily manage your child’s health care from a mobile device, tablet or computer, whether you use the Children’s Health website or free mobile app. Through a hospital-issued tablet, patients have a new way to stay connected to their care team and quickly access important information about their hospital stay.

How can I view providers’ notes in MyChart?

To help you feel more involved in your child’s care, we have added a feature in MYchart called Open Notes. Through Open Notes, you can now view providers’ notes in MYchart. Notes often cover information about diagnoses, tests, procedures, medicines and treatment plans. The timing for when you can view notes depends upon the care setting.

What age do you have to wear a mask in the office?

How many adults are needed to accompany a child to a pediatrician visit?

Whenever possible, we ask that only 1 well adult accompany a child to their visit. If possible, please do not bring other children to the office if they do not have an appointment.

How to prepare for a pediatrician appointment?

Before your visit: – Try to be ready 5 minutes before your appointment. – Set up your device or computer in a quiet, well-lit room if possible. – If appropriate, dress your child in easy-to-remove clothing (to check breathing or a rash). – If they have a fever, take your child’s temperature.
