Can I use MyChart for urgent medical matters?

What appointments can I schedule via MyChart?
You can now schedule office visits for primary care appointments, a follow-up for evaluation and management of infections, and return visits with a gynecology provider. If you are unable to schedule via MyChart today, continue to check back periodically as additional options will be offered in the near future.
What is MyChart’s role in maintaining the security of your medical information?
As a MyChart® user, your role in maintaining the security of your medical information is: 1) Changing your password on a regular basis, and 2) Keeping your login ID and password confidential. We are not responsible for someone breaching your patient information if you shared your login ID or password with that person.
Can a minor see medical records without consent?
Under State and Federal law, there are certain types of medical information that the parent or guardian of a minor patient age 12 or older may not view without consent of the minor patient. Because of these requirements, we cannot offer the full spectrum of services to parents of minor patients in this age category.
Can emergency situations be electronically submitted?
Accordingly, emergency situations requiring immediate attention should never be submitted electronically. You should call 911 or visit your local hospital. Furthermore, with respect to any electronic communications sent by you, we are only able to respond to such communications based on the information provided by you.
