You can use your NYU Langone Health MyChart account on a computer to view, share, and download your images and also print your imaging reports by doing the following:
- Log into your NYU Langone Health MyChart account, tap on the “Menu” icon, and select “Test Results.”
- Click on the imaging exam name to read the report.
- To print the report, click on the printer icon at the top of the report.
- To view the images, select “Click Here to View Full-Resolution Images”.

This month, UCSF Medical Center announced that patients can now see radiographic studies including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans and some ultrasounds on MyChart. Such a move is an additional step towards transparency and will allow patients to read reports and see images.
How can I view my chest X-ray scan results?
To view imaging results, click on the chest X-ray icon of the scan you want to see. This will bring up the details of your scan, explaining what the scan found. At the bottom of the screen, click the link to view your scans under PACS Images . From here, you can save, print, and share both the images and the report.
What can you do with MyChart?
You can see, print, and share the images and results of your X-ray, MRI, mammogram, CT and other scans in MyChart. Under the Health section, go to Test Results . To view imaging results, click on the chest X-ray icon of the scan you want to see. This will bring up the details of your scan, explaining what the scan found.
Where can I find the text portion of a radiology imaging report?
The text portion of your of a radiology imaging report can be viewed in the Test Results section of MyChart. The actual radiology images are not transmitted through MyChart at this time.
