Who is Edelweiss von Maack?

Edelweiss von Maack serves as Chief Nursing Officer at SAC Health System. After working as a registered nurse for 18 years, she received her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus and her Post Master’s Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certificate from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tn. She has worked in various leadership roles including an emergency department in Panama City Beach, Florida and in academia at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. She has also worked as a Nurse Practitioner in various patient settings including neurology, student health and the Center for Health Promotion on the Loma Linda campus, specializing in weight management. She currently also works as a Nurse Practitioner for SAC Health System at the Norton location. Her passions include empowering the next generation of nursing leaders and giving back to the community by volunteering at no kill animal shelters.
