What is MyChart and how does it work?
MyChart is a patient accessible website that enables you to interact with your Baylor Medicine healthcare team. Services currently available through MyChart include secure messaging with your physician, online appointment requests, prescription renewal, viewing test results, and general health information.
What is BMC’s patient portal?
MyChart, BMC’s patient portal, is the best way to receive care over the phone or your computer, including virtual visits and messaging your provider. It also provides you with 24/7 access to all your health information. See your provider without coming into the clinic.
How do I sign up for Baptist Health’s MyChart app?
Download the MyChart app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Choose Baptist Health as your provider and select Sign Up. Parents, legal guardians and caregivers can access the health information of someone they care for. To do this, you’ll need to set up a proxy account.
How do I recover my MyChart username?
Click here for instructions on enabling JavaScript. If you have an e-mail address on file then your MyChart Username will be sent to your e-mail account. Please attempt to recover your username. If after attempting the recovery workflow you are unable to regain access to your MyChart account, please contact the MyChart help desk.
How do I use MyChart?
To sign up for MyChart, click here. You’ll be asked to fill out information about yourself, including your address, date of birth, and email address. Please note that it will ask for part of your Social Security number. This is necessary to verify your identity before we can share medical records. Or, your doctor will give you an activation code to sign up.
How long does it take to set up MyChart?
Once your account is verified, you will get an email with the information you need to set up your account. It may take up to two to three days for you to get this information. You can also set up a MyChart account by calling 844-625-1390 or calling your provider’s office.

As of November 16, you, and anyone you’ve given MyChart access to, will see test results without a time delay, a summary of what you told the doctor or nurse, findings from exams, your doctor’s assessment or diagnosis of any medical conditions, and your treatment plan and next steps.
