What is MyChart?

MyChart MyChart is an optional online service provided by Advocate Aurora. MyChart helps you, as a patient of Advocate Aurora, to access portions of your health information and to communicate with your Advocate Aurora healthcare providers. MyChart is not intended for urgent communication.

Can I post my medical information in MyChart?

The decision to post medical information in MyChart is primarily at the discretion of your individual physician(s). You must contact Advocate Aurora directly for official and complete copies of your medical record or in regard to discrepancies with the medical information listed in your record.

How can I Share my MyChart access with friends and family?

To do this, go to “Share MyChart Access” within the NYU Langone Health app, and then “Friends and Family Access.” For each person who has access to your MyChart account, you can select whether they have full access to your health information or limited access to administrative features such as scheduling new patient appointments and video visits.

What if I don’t have a MyChart account?

For security reasons, LiveWell with Advocate Aurora Health automatically times out after 20 minutes of inactivity. As an added precaution, and to protect your privacy, please sign out of LiveWell whenever you leave your computer.

You can access the LiveWell with Advocate Aurora Health app through your mobile device by downloading the LiveWell app. Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the app. You can download the app on your iPad as well as any Android tablet that has the Google Play store.

How to add medication to LiveWell?

To add missing medications or to update your medication list in the LiveWell website, select Health Summary from the Health menu , then select the Medications tab. In the LiveWell app, go to My Chart > Medications. Here you can remove medications you no longer take and refill or renew your medications. You also can add new medications, but your additions won’t take effect until they’re reviewed at your next appointment.
