What is MyChart?

MyChart MyChart is an optional online service provided by Advocate Aurora. MyChart helps you, as a patient of Advocate Aurora, to access portions of your health information and to communicate with your Advocate Aurora healthcare providers. MyChart is not intended for urgent communication.

How do I share my health records with advocate Aurora Health?

The LiveWell with Advocate Aurora Health app or website usually displays your most recent health records from the last couple years. You can request medical records on the LiveWell website. Select Your Menu and then choose Share My Record under Sharing. Then select Download or send your record.

Is advocate Aurora Health making lab and imaging results available?

In compliance with the 21st Century CURES Act, Advocate Aurora Health is making most laboratory and imaging results as well as provider notes available shortly after completion through LiveWell. Advocate Aurora Health supports this transparency.

Can I post my medical information in MyChart?

The decision to post medical information in MyChart is primarily at the discretion of your individual physician(s). You must contact Advocate Aurora directly for official and complete copies of your medical record or in regard to discrepancies with the medical information listed in your record.

What information is shared with Advocate Aurora?

The information you submit to MyChart, including your electronic messages, may be shared with Advocate Aurora staff when their job includes assisting your Advocate Aurora healthcare provider in providing your medical care. However, your information will only be available to those staff members who have a business reason for accessing it. If your provider is out of the office or unavailable, messages sent within MyChart may be routed to other appropriate and authorized caregivers within Advocate Aurora in order to facilitate a timely response. In addition, Advocate Aurora is only able to respond to electronic messages based on the information provided by you. Therefore, if there is insufficient information provided, Advocate Aurora may be unable to provide accurate and reliable responses and/or service.
