What is MyChart and how does it help Bon Secours patients?
mychart offers Bon Secours patients free personalized online access to portions of their medical records. It enables you to securely use the Internet to manage and receive information about your health — online, any time.
How do I sign up for MyChart?

What is the MyChart experience?
You can pay bills for inpatient and outpatient visits with MyChart. MyChart gives you 24/7 access to bill payment and accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and electronic checks. Due to the change in our MyChart experience, you could receive billing in both Bon Secours MyChart locations.
What’s the best way to sign in to the new Bon Secours health system site?
Visit our new site and sign in with your MyChart username and password – or by signing in through the MyChart app. On the MyChart app, be sure to add “Bon Secours Health System – Greenville, SC and Hampton Roads, VA” as a new organization.

What do you call a doctor if you have a medical emergency?
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 right away. For other non-emergency medical matters, call your doctor’s office.

Register at your provider’s office – At your next appointment, ask to set up a MyChart account and they can help you register.
How do I get the discount if I am uninsured?
The uninsured discount is automatically discounted at the time of billing. When the balance is billed, your statement will show that the adjustment has been applied.
Will my insurance plan pay for my treatment?
Even though Bon Secours participates in your insurance plan, this does not guarantee all services will be covered. HMOs and PPOs often require a referral or certification prior to admission or outpatient services. Without a proper referral or certification, the hospital claim could be denied by your insurance which could result in you being responsible for services. Contact your specific insurance carrier to verify whether your treatment will be covered.
