What to do if you get sick after office hours?
If you get sick or hurt after regular office hours, you can still get medical care. In an emergency you may call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room (ER), including the ER at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez. If you aren’t sure if you need to go to the ER, call the County’s free 24-hour advice nurse to help you decide (1-877-661-6230). The advice nurse can tell you what to do before you go and what to tell the emergency staff once you get there.
