Is MyChart a private network?
B. MyChart is a private network. MyChart is a private Internet application provided and maintained by AHN on behalf of itself and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Unless we have specifically authorized you to access MyChart, it is a violation of state and federal law to attempt to access the private computer network of another individual or entity.
Can I get emergency care through MyChart?
EMERGENCY CARE IS NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH MYCHART. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR SERIOUS CONDITION, CALL YOUR DOCTOR’S OFFICE, VISIT THE NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OR URGENT CARE CENTER, OR DIAL 911 IMMEDIATELY. C. Generally should not be accessed by minors. MyChart is generally not intended for use by minors under the age of 13.
Do I need to enroll in MyChart?
Enrolling in MyChart is optional and is not required in order to receive treatment; however, certain care-related services/programs may be exclusively offered through MyChart like Virtual Care (described more fully below).
What is a unique username and password?
A. Unique username and password. Your username and password control access to your MyChart account and your health information within the account. DO NOT share your username or password with anyone. Sharing your username or password could compromise the confidentiality and security of your information in MyChart, and may result in AHN suspending or terminating your access privileges.
What information does AHN collect?
AHN collects personal information about you, such as name, email address, phone number, and other demographics, for MyChart account administration purposes. We also collect other information, such as geolocation (if enabled on your personal device), in order to deliver certain MyChart programs which are driven by your proximity to an AHN facility. For more information regarding what types of information we collect through your use of MyChart and other AHN platforms, and how such information is used, refer to AHN’s Online Privacy Policy (OPP), which can be found on AHN.org ( click here ).
Why is MyChart unavailable?
G. MyChart unavailability. There may be times when MyChart is temporarily unavailable due to technical complications or during routine maintenance activities. AHN will make reasonable efforts to limit system maintenance to off-peak hours and resolve any technical issues as quickly as possible to minimize service interruptions.
