Summa Health patients can access personal health information — including upcoming appointments, test results, and more — in your new MyChart site.

Is my MyChart® a complete medical record?

The electronic record is property of Mercy Health and the information displayed in MyChart® is not the complete medical record. You can choose to stop participating in MyChart® at anytime by contacting your physician office and make a request for your MyChart® record to be closed.

What is MyChart’s role in maintaining the security of your medical information?

As a MyChart® user, your role in maintaining the security of your medical information is: 1) Changing your password on a regular basis, and 2) Keeping your login ID and password confidential. We are not responsible for someone breaching your patient information if you shared your login ID or password with that person.

Can a minor see medical records without consent?

Under State and Federal law, there are certain types of medical information that the parent or guardian of a minor patient age 12 or older may not view without consent of the minor patient. Because of these requirements, we cannot offer the full spectrum of services to parents of minor patients in this age category.
