What is the Kipu patient portal?

What can EMR users do with Kipu access management?
From Kipu Access Management, EMR users can invite patients/contacts to the portal, view portal registration status, resend portal invitation emails, change users’ portal login email addresses and display names, view charts connected to a portal account, disconnect patient/contact from a portal account, and disable/enable a portal account.
Who can access Kipu access management?
At the moment, only EMR users with Super Admin or Manage Users permissions can access Kipu Access Management. Other users can access individual portal accounts from the patient’s facesheet. How will an EMR user know that the portal user has registered their account?
Will appointment statuses be displayed in Kipu portal?
Since existing appointment statuses have not been patient-facing, we will not expose statuses to the portal user. Will group sessions be included in Kipu Portal’s My Appointments section? For organizations with the Calendar enabled, only calendar appointments will be displayed in My Appointments.
