How do I sign up for MyChart?
Go to MyChart and select “Sign Up Now.” You will need your access code and medical record number. This can be found on the last page of the after-visit summary you received at the end of your appointment. If you lost your access code or do not have one, please contact the MyChart help desk at 503-494-5252 .
Who can see my MyChart messages?
All of your OHSU Health primary care and specialty providers (and their teams) can see your MyChart messages in your health record — even the messages you did not send to them. This helps link your health and care plans across our system. Log in to MyChart on your computer, or open the MyChart app on your smartphone or tablet.
What is MyChart and why should I use it?
MyChart is the easiest, most efficient way to communicate with your provider and your healthcare team, to communicate with you. I always encouraged patients to use MyChart instead of relying on telephone calls.
What is the best time to send a MyChart message?
MyChart messages are best if you need to send a short note and can wait a few days for a response, such as: Getting a doctor’s note for school, work, emotional support animal, etc. If you need an answer in less than 3 days, call your clinic instead. MyChart messages aren’t read at night or on weekends.
