What is shared access?
Share Access allows family members or caregivers to see other adults’ medical information and help manage their care. It’s the best way to let patients share information with caregivers as needed, while maintaining their rights to privacy. Individuals with Share Access can: View portions of the patient’s health record.
Does Stanford Hospital have MyHealth?
MyHealth now offers Hospital View, which is activated if you are admitted to Stanford Hospital. MyHealth will help guide you through your hospital stay by providing you with features that will keep you informed about your care.

How to verify insurance is accepted at SHC?
If you would like to verify that your insurance is accepted at SHC prior to your appointment, please contact your insurance provider directly. If you have an HMO insurance plan, please obtain from your insurance provider, prior to your appointment, a written authorization to be seen at SHC. If your insurance benefits do not cover your visit, you will be asked to sign a Patient Acceptance of Financial Responsibility form upon arrival and submit payment upon receipt of your bill.
