If you have been granted access to a minor patient’s record on myHealth and your legal relationship with the patient changes, you must inform Orthopaedic Institute for Children immediately. Please call Health Information Management Services (HIMS). Orthopaedic Institute for Children reserves the right to revoke access to a patient’s myHealth record at any time for any reason.
What happens if you send a message via myhealth?
Once a message is made part of your permanent medical record, it will be accessible to current and future care provider (s) and staff members at Orthopaedic Institute for Children who are appropriately involved in your care.
How old do you have to be to use MyHealth?
Two requirements must be met for a patient to be eligible to use myHealth. First, a patient must be twelve (12) years of age or older. A minor under the age of 12 years may not establish a myHealth account. Second, a patient must be an active patient of Orthopaedic Institute for Children healthcare provider.
