What is MyChart and how does it work?

MyChart is a new patient portal that keeps all of your health information together in one place. Bill Pay and CareLink Re-Enrollment will continue to serve you. Items that are part of your medical record include prescriptions, lab results, allergies and immunizations. These will transfer when you enroll in MyChart.

How do I sign up for UHS MyChart?

You’ll need an activation code to sign up for UHS MyChart. If you already have an activation code, sign up here. You can request a MyChart activation code online. One of the features of MyChart is Proxy Access. Obtaining access to another persons’ UHS MyChart account that is NOT their own is called Proxy Access. Need Help?

When will the 21st century cures act be implemented?

21st Century Cures Act. Effective May 1, 2021 , UHCS will comply with the CMS requirement to send electronic notifications for patient admissions, discharges and transfers to the primary care provider or other practitioners responsible for the patient’s care. Confirm your primary care provider when you present for care.

Can you see your radiology results before your doctor?

Already in effect, lab results, and radiology results are available to you electronically at the time the result is finalized. Because of this, you may see results before your physician or provider. This may create a lot of questions or even some anxiety, so it is always a good idea to ask your physician or other provider what to expect when they are ordering tests. In addition to results being released, you will also see clinical notes that were documented during your encounter.

Is MyChart safe?

MyChart provides our patients access to their health information online, anytime, anywhere. MyChart is password protected and protected by an encrypted connection, so all information is safe from unauthorized access.

Can a provider answer all of your questions electronically?

Providers may not be able to answer all of your questions electronically and may request that you schedule an appointment. This will allow for a more accurate diagnosis to determine the best treatment plan for your condition. If you’re a current patient, you have a MyChart account.
