What is Bon Secours health systems MyChart?

(“Bon Secours Health Systems”) provides a secure web site known as MyChart to allow you to access some (but not all) of your confidential health information contained in your Bon Secours Health Systems electronic medical record (“EMR”), to the extent you have a Bon Secours Health Systems EMR. MyChart is not your complete EMR.

How do I access MyChart?

You can access MyChart by logging into the web site mychart.mybonsecours.com with a special identification code. In order to obtain the identification code, you must complete this IDENTIFICATION VERIFICATION FOR ACCESS TO MYCHART REQUEST, and must accept and agree to comply with the MYCHART ACCESS RESPONSIBILITIES set forth below.

Our MyChart user experience is changing. Beginning May 21, patients in Greenville, SC, will access personal health information – including upcoming appointments, test results and more – in our new MyChart site . After May 21, visit our new site and sign in with your MyChart username and password – or by signing in through the MyChart app.

How do I get the discount if I am uninsured?

The uninsured discount is automatically discounted at the time of billing. When the balance is billed, your statement will show that the adjustment has been applied.

Will my insurance plan pay for my treatment?

Even though Bon Secours participates in your insurance plan, this does not guarantee all services will be covered. HMOs and PPOs often require a referral or certification prior to admission or outpatient services. Without a proper referral or certification, the hospital claim could be denied by your insurance which could result in you being responsible for services. Contact your specific insurance carrier to verify whether your treatment will be covered.
